“This Time, Last Week”

Live at Sound Emporium Studios in Nashville, TN, “This Time, Last Week” is the first track on Sprig of That’s debut original album, “bloom”. “bloom” was produced by Wes Corbett and recorded by GRAMMY-winning engineer Dave Sinko.

“Sprig of That is cultivating a genre-jumping string sound with violin, guitar, and tabla. The young band is exploring new tonal terrain.” – Greg Cahill, Strings Magazine

“Riversong”

Written as a tribute to the Mississippi River and all the people it nourishes, and inspired by Celtic fiddle traditions, “Riversong” is the second track off of Sprig of That’s debut original album “bloom”.

“The unique trio is a breath of fresh air, and ‘Riversong’ is the latest example of their instrumental mastery.” – Music Mecca

Improvisation in the Trees

15 feet up in the pines, Isabel Dammann (violin) and Mikey Marget (cello) perform Scandinavian-inspired improvisations for audience members wandering through the woods as part of Belwin Conservancy’s 2021 “Music in the Trees” event.

“Across the Western Ocean”

Arranged and performed by Sam Genualdi (guitar, vocals) and Isabel Dammann (violin, vocals), “Across the Western Ocean” is a traditional folk ballad, expressing the hardships faced by the Irish people who immigrated to the United States in the wake of the potato famine in the mid 19th-century.
